Following two years of our location being in Oldgate Morpeth, the team and BBHQ needed a new home which could house all of our shop needs, online stock and help us build on our embroidery and printing product offering. When we found 29 Bridge Steet, Morpeth on the market a few months ago we jumped at the chance to take on the building and make it our own. The new location offers a more central setting in Morpeth with a much greater footfall of local traffic, it is also 3 floors so we can house our online stock and embroidery and printing business all under one roof whilst providing a much larger ground floor store.
We also took the opportunity to review our product offering, branding and website setup so that we could launch a whole new experience to our customers not just locally but to the online audience. We worked hard on our rebranding which brings a fresh new colour scheme along with a new font whilst keeping the fun owl eyes which have been with us since we started many years ago. We hope you like the new brand and we will continue to build on its success.
In the last 3 weeks we have taken on the lease of the new building, gutted the interior and refreshed it with many layers of paint, new flooring, shelving, display units and our sound system to make the shopping experience so much more pleasurable. Our fantastic range of suppliers have made us a custom designed counter, our new bags, packaging and labelling have been rolled out and it's all come together in a fabulous new space and we cannot wait to share it with the people of morpeth and beyond.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank our supporters, some of you have shopped with us since day 1 when we started in our garage, some from the various markets and smaller shops we have had and without your support we couldn't have expanded into this new shop. Each and every purchase, follow, message of support means so much to us and we are thankful everyday for the opportunity to service our local community and the global online community.
